Music Photography would be my immediate choice if I had to choose my favourite type of photography. It’s my passion, my drive, my secret râison d’etre! I love the lighting challenges, the people, the atmosphere, the emotions, the unpredictability of it all. Be that in the guise of a Folk Festival or a Heavy Metal extravaganza. It’s Music Photography, so it matters not to me!
As a photographer to me this is not far off of a complete test, nothing at all at a Festival is under your control, nothing is uniform. If it happens and if you miss a shot then the chances are that you’ll not see it again! Events are very similar. They are slightly more manageable and perhaps to a degree slightly more predictable. Everyone still needs to remember there is no rewind button that can be pressed if there is an issue! Being able to be in the right place at the right time is essential. I pride myself on getting you the images to showcase your event, in the professional way that you expect.
The key to any successful music photography shoot is full communication prior to the event. During the event it will be virtually impossible to communicate and make any changes to requirements. We therefore need to completely understand one another’s requirements and abilities prior to it all starting.
Established bands/artists, along with those just forging out a path please contact me to arrange an informal chat about images. We can discuss your style, the images and locations for your promo shoots, your advertising requirements, and your social media presence. I have no preconceived ideas as to what will be needed in any situation, by any artist(s), the ideas will fall out of our chat. Within reason we can go wherever suits you, for as long as it takes to get you what you want to put you up there, to get you noticed!
I do have some dates available for gigs / festivals / tours etc in 2022, but do be quick! I am currently taking dates for 2023. If you would like to discuss options then please make contact sooner rather than later.
